Terms of Use

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Couple Connect mobile application, this website, and related services (the “Service”). By downloading or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal information and is incorporated by reference.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years of age (or 18 where a higher age applies in your region) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent’s or legal guardian’s permission.

Couple Connect is designed for two people who choose to share a private space. You are responsible for who you invite and for content you share with them.

3. The service

Couple Connect helps couples share goals, stay in touch, and play together. Features may include a home journey, shared goals, chat, love letters and doodles, future letters, Memory Lane, Love Puzzle, date ideas, mini games, question packs, notifications, and widgets. Features may change as we improve the product.

Some features require a linked partner and/or an active Couple Connect Pro plan. Limited website content does not grant app access.

4. Accounts

You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

You may delete your account in the app (Profile → Delete account). Account deletion removes cloud records we control that are associated with your account. It does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription.

5. Partner invites and shared content

You may invite one partner with an invite code. After they redeem it, you share a couple room. Content in that room is visible to both of you. Only invite someone you trust.

If the person who purchased Pro shares an invite code, the partner who redeems it may receive Pro access as a gift without a second purchase, as shown in the app at the time of redeeming. We may revoke gifted access if the original purchase is refunded, charged back, or otherwise invalidated.

You must not use the Service to harass, stalk, or share another person’s private content without permission. You are responsible for the messages, photos, voice notes, and letters you send.

6. Subscriptions and payments

Paid access is offered as Apple App Store purchases for Couple Connect Pro. Plans may include auto-renewable subscriptions (for example monthly and yearly) and a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices shown in the app are localized by Apple / StoreKit.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Manage or cancel anytime in Apple ID → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s refund policies.
Lifetime purchases are a one-time App Store charge and are not an auto-renewing subscription.
Use Restore Purchases in the app if you reinstall or switch devices.
A partner code from someone who already has Pro may unlock access without a second payment, as described in the app.

Licensed application end-user terms also include Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, unless a custom EULA is configured in App Store Connect.

7. Your responsibilities and user content

Use the Service only for lawful, personal relationship use.
Do not upload content that is illegal, harmful, exploitative, or that violates others’ rights.
Do not attempt to bypass payments, abuse notifications, scrape the Service, or disrupt other users.
Do not share another person’s intimate images or private communications without their consent.

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant PUUR Business a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, process, transmit, and use that content solely to provide the Service, including storing it with processors described in the Privacy Policy and showing it to your linked partner.

8. Intellectual property

The Service and its original content, features, and branding (excluding your user content) are and remain the property of PUUR Business and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute our materials except as allowed by law or with our prior written consent.

9. Third-party services

Sign-in, purchases, notifications, and cloud hosting rely on third parties such as Apple, Google, RevenueCat, and Supabase. Those services have their own terms. We are not responsible for outages or policy changes on those platforms.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or misuse the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account in the app. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that scheduled letters, notifications, or partner sync will always arrive on time.

Couple Connect is a relationship tool, not medical, mental-health, legal, or financial advice. Use your own judgment for important decisions.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PUUR Business and its directors, employees, partners, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. If you do not agree, stop using the Service.
